Miranda Lambert is mourning the loss of two of her beloved farm animals and four-legged family members, Sugar Pie and Adrianna.
Over the weekend, the country superstar took to social media to let fans know that both of her mini horses had passed away. She reflected on spending the past 18 years with them, sharing several photos and videos that captured the joy and memories they brought to her life.
“My sweet little nuggets Sugar Pie and Adrianna crossed over the rainbow bridge today. 🌈 I’ve had 18 years with these littles and I can’t tell you how much joy they brought me,” she wrote.

Lambert pointed out that having an animal mom in her life is one of her greatest joys, but admitted that saying goodbye is always difficult.
“The best part about being an animal mom is the joy. The worst part is when the time comes to say goodbye. Full of gratitude for them and for Tommy, Julia and Sarah and everyone who helped take care of them and give them the best life when I was on the road all these years. Godspeed little bittys. I know you are both in greener pastures as I type this. I’ll see y’all again one day. Big love,” she concluded.
Fans and friends quickly responded with love and support. Junk Gypsy wrote, “All horses go to heaven. So sorry Ran,” while many others sent virtual hugs and kind messages to the country star.

It’s no secret that Miranda Lambert is a proud animal lover. She constantly shares updates with fans from her farm and also makes it her mission to support shelter pets through her MuttNation Foundation.
Founded in 2009 by Miranda Lambert and her mother, Bev, the MuttNation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported entirely by donations. Since its launch, the organization has raised over $10 million to promote the adoption of shelter pets, advance spay and neuter efforts, and educate the public about the benefits of these initiatives.

MuttNation offers support to shelters and rescue organizations through programs like the MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund, which provides aid during natural disasters, and the MuttNation “It Takes Balls” program, which focuses on spay and neuter efforts.
