They really don’t make TV like this anymore — and if you grew up during the true age of laugh-till-you-can’t-breathe comedy, you feel it the second Vicki Lawrence and Tim Conway show up on screen. Their chemistry on The Carol Burnett Show wasn’t forced, it wasn’t polished — it was alive. Watching Vicki fight to keep a straight face while Conway tossed out yet another ridiculous improvised joke made the whole country crack up at once.
