- STUNNING: Pop rebel P!nk delivers a ‘harrowing’ and emotional rendition of the 80s classic alongside long-time guitarist Justin Derrico during a special guest-hosting stint.
- DEFIANT: The singer uses the platform to shut down ‘vicious’ social media rumours of a split from husband Carey Hart, jokingly asking if the gossip-mongers would like to ‘inform her children.’
- EXCLUSIVE: Behind-the-scenes whispers suggest the powerhouse vocalist is being eyed as a permanent replacement for Kelly Clarkson as the host prepares to exit her eponymous show.

She has built a career on being the toughest girl in pop, but P!nk showed her vulnerable side in a way fans have never seen before.
During a sensational guest-hosting appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week, the 46-year-old superstar brought the house down with a stripped-back, acoustic cover of Cyndi Lauper’s iconic anthem, Time After Time.
Joined by her trusted musical director and guitar virtuoso Justin Derrico, the ‘Raise Your Glass’ hitmaker turned the daytime TV set into an intimate confessional.

The performance, part of the show’s popular ‘Cameo-oke’ segment, saw P!nk—real name Alecia Beth Moore—trading her signature high-octane acrobatics for raw, soul-stirring vocals that left host Kelly Clarkson and the audience visibly moved.
However, the drama wasn’t just limited to the music. The Brit Award winner took the opportunity to address the ‘furious’ whirlwind of speculation surrounding her 20-year marriage to motocross legend Carey Hart.
Donning a crisp white T-shirt emblazoned with the plea ‘Give me some good news,’ the mother-of-two sarcastically skewered reports that she and Hart had separated.
“I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know!” she told her 11.7 million followers in a biting social media update just before the broadcast.
The ‘New Queen’ of Daytime?
While P!nk was officially filling in to kick off Women’s History Month, industry insiders are abuzz with claims that this is more than just a friendly favour.
With Kelly Clarkson recently announcing her departure from the show to focus on her children following the tragic death of her former husband Brandon Blackstock, NBC bosses are said to be ‘desperate’ to secure a big-name successor.
Sources spotted P!nk reviewing ‘extensive paperwork’ at Manhattan’s exclusive Soho House earlier this month, fueling rumours that a permanent move to the hosting chair is on the cards.

THE P!NK & CAREY TIMELINE
2001: The pair meet at the Summer X Games in Philadelphia.
2006: They tie the knot in a lavish Costa Rican ceremony.
2008: A brief separation leads to the hit ‘So What,’ but they reunite after marriage counselling.
2026: Rumours of a split are branded ‘fake news’ by the singer.
The singer has recently relocated her entire family to New York City, ostensibly so her 14-year-old daughter Willow can study theatre on Broadway.
But with her natural charisma and sharp wit on full display this week—even laughing off a ‘mortifying’ gaffe where Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim confused her for Kelly Clarkson—it seems the ‘rebel’ of pop might just be the new darling of daytime.
