Jason Aldean and Wife Brittany Aldean Explain Why They’ve Chosen to Be ‘Unapologetic’ About Their Beliefs. Jason Aldean and Brittany Aldean made headlines at AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona, where the couple openly addressed why they refuse to soften or apologize for their personal beliefs. Speaking candidly, they said the decision comes from wanting to live authentically, stand firm under public scrutiny, and set an example for their children. In front of a supportive crowd, the Aldeans emphasized that criticism no longer dictates how they speak or show up publicly — a stance that continues to spark conversation, praise from fans, and backlash from critics alike.

Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Aldean, are opening up about their political beliefs and explaining why they’ve chosen to be open and outspoken about their conservative views.

The couple recently appeared at Turning Point USA’s annual AmericaFest conference, held at the Phoenix Convention Center, where they joined a lineup of speakers that included Savannah Chrisley, Todd Chrisley, Danica Patrick, Rob Schneider, and more.

While on stage, Jason and Brittany spoke candidly about their decision to publicly share their beliefs, noting that honesty and authenticity have guided their choice to speak out, even when it invites criticism.

“I am very outspoken. I’m very bold,” Brittany shared from the stage.

She went on to explain that she and Jason had a conversation that ultimately led them to fully embrace speaking openly about their political beliefs, without worrying about the potential ramifications.

“I just don’t really care what people think, which I think is a characteristic that the Lord gave me and knew that I was going to be in this position, honestly. I’m just used to people criticizing us, criticizing everything that we do,” she explained.

“So at that point, me and Jason in the kitchen one day were like, ‘Okay, we feel this way. We know so many people do, but a lot of people are afraid to speak out or lose their job, lose their career, maybe a record deal. So is this something that because of the position we’re in, we’re going to just full steam ahead and talk about it and say, This is where we stand. We know a lot of you are with us. Let’s go. Let’s get on this train together.’ And so Jason and I just decided from that point on, this is what we’re doing.”

Jason acknowledged that much of what they do is closely scrutinized and said he feels a sense of responsibility to stand up for what they believe in.

“I think we live in a country now where a lot of times if you’re a Christian, you’re made to feel like that’s a bad thing, which is just not the way either one of us was raised. It’s not how we feel,” the Georgia native shared.

“And we’re in a unique situation to where a lot of things we do are kind of under the microscope as a couple and as individuals. And I don’t know. I just feel like when you’re in the situation we’re in, you kind of have this obligation to speak out when you hear and see things that just don’t seem right,” he continued.

With that, he said they don’t worry about how others perceive them and understand that not everyone will agree with their views, but they believe being open about their beliefs is what’s best for them.

“And I’ll say with us, and for us it’s just been kind of being unapologetic about our beliefs and how we feel. It’s like you can think we’re crazy. You don’t have to agree with it. That’s fine, but this is how we feel and you’re not going to tell us any different.”

According to the event’s official website, AmericaFest 2025 is completely sold out. The event, which runs through December 21, will also include a performance by country star Nate Smith.
